Hello and welcome to The Art to Survival! If you meant to be here then huzzah, you’ve found it! If you’ve stumbled here by accident, well, keep reading anyway. You never know, you might find something you like.
I am a copywriter, content creator and blogger focusing on all things mental health and wellbeing. My aim is to normalise the conversation around mental health and make it a topic that people aren’t afraid to be a part of. I also want to make people aware of all of the different kind of help there is available; it’s not all about talking therapies and medication, there’s also holistic healing, aromatherapy, acupuncture, art therapy, music therapy and many, many more that I couldn’t possibly list!
Feel free to have a browse and if there’s anything you’d like to know more about, jump over to the contact page and send me a message or pop a comment onto one of the blogs. Do show them a little love, they get lonely sometimes!
Content Creation
Words are so powerful and we don’t always realise how much of an effect they can have. The wrong message can put people off and send them somewhere else and we don’t want that!

Training for Blog Writing
If you want to write your own blogs but don’t really know how, then let me help you get started. We can work together so you can learn how to create quality content again and again.

Proofreading
Mistakes happen to the best of us, so having a second pair of eyes to check things over can prevent any annoying (or embarrassing) mishaps.
Blog Writing
A really good blog for your business can touch so many people but I do recognise that some people feel like they aren’t good at expressing themselves on paper or simply don’t have the time.

When it comes to first aid, we all know where to go for a plaster or a painkiller. But what about your mental health? What do you do when you need something to help that?

Play your favourite song!
Music Therapy has been shown to reduce stress, relax the mind, improve your mood and energise your body.
The great thing about music is you don’t need a therapist to enjoy some of the benefits, it’s free and can be incorporated into our daily routines.
From my recent blogs…
Depression – It’s a bit crap really.
Warning! There is strong language in this post (depression is a bit pants so I feel it’s warranted on this occasion), so if you don’t want to see it stop now.
If you’re cool with that however, read on.
Survival – Cue the music…….
Survival. A primal instinct that allows parents to lift cars off their children and others to put one foot in front of the other when they’ve been beaten down. It’s what makes you nauseous and your heart start to race when you’re anxious.
It’s what keeps you alive.
Pain
Pain is a familiar feeling yet completely unique to us all. We all feel it differently, we all survive it differently, we all handle it differently but in the end, we all hate it equally. Funny that.
